Decisions, decisions....

We are at the starting point of a renovation on our home (yeah I know, I'm pregnant and we're starting a renovation!! But that's how it normally is for us, all or nothing!!) and can I just say that I never in my wildest dream could have imagined how many different white's/neutrals there are out there...I've already bought 5 sample pots and I don't think any are the shade I'm after!!

I'm loving things like this...

 

 

Light, bright and lots of space is the aim of our renovations.

 

 



 

So today I'll be off to my local BMS once again to grab what will hopefully be the winning colour!

Carnival spirit is in the air...

We are lucky enough to live in a city which is known as "the garden city" and September is one of the most beautiful times of the year...

 

The weather has warmed up and the flowers are starting to bloom in preparation for the "Carnival of Flowers" which happens towards the end of September...

 

 

It was a windy day but the sun was shining and the colourful blooms just make you feel lucky to be alive....

 

 

Ivy enjoyed the freedom of running around and checking out all the different colours and smells...

 

I just love her adventurous spirit and inquisitive nature...

 

 

We met up with some dear friends of ours and the girls had a great time exploring and finding new places and things to look at in different places in the park...

 

 

And after a lot of walking on those little legs, had a little rest and just enjoyed the view....

 

 

And what a colourful view it was!!

 

 

Yep another lovely afternoon in our simple kind of beautiful life!!

 

 

Yesterday

Yesterday was a beautiful day...

I took my grandmother "Ma" and my daughter Ivy to the park and we had a lovely time enjoying the spring sunshine...

 

Ivy had a great time, as she always does in the outdoors but was a little bit camera shy...

 

 

There's just something about the fresh air, the colours, the peaceful sounds and the sunshine that is just so uplifting...

 

 

It's good for the soul...

 

I treasure these precious moments...

 

And will always remember this as the day we found out that Ivy is going to be a big sister!!!!

 

Yep, I'M finally FREAKING PREGNANT!!!! What an exciting day!!!
