"Before" House Tour - The adventure starts here...

Nearly three years ago, my husband and I purchased our modest three bedroom, one bathroom 1980's brick home on a 600m2 suburban block. We moved in knowing that we would like to make changes over time with the view to either sell (hopefully making a profit) or rent out as an investment property. Our dream is to own a small country property (not too far from where we live now to remain close to work, family and city conveniences) but to have our own private piece of tree filled paradise...and perhaps a cow or three.

We are avid DIYers which is handy when we are working on a tight budget. I have always been interested in interior design so I am enjoying the learning experience.

Although we have started making some changes I thought I would share the house as it was in the beginning so I am reminded of just how far we've come, because sometimes it feels like we are getting nowhere fast!

So here is a tour of my house "before" and I look forward to sharing the home "after" and my inspiration along the way...
